The standard wedge wire screen, also known as trapezoidal wire screen or V-shaped wire screen, consists of two parts: profile wires and support rods. Engineered with precise slot dimensions and high filtration accuracy, it is manufactured from premium materials including 304, 304L, 316, 316L and Hastelloy alloys. If offers a sturdy structure, high tensile and compressive strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature resistance. The 75 mm diameter configuration is most prevalent in oil and natural gas drilling operations. Key features include:

It is composed of a base pipe, a wedge wire screen, and support rings. The base pipe is perforated from API-standard casing or tubing, while the wedge wire screen is integrally welded to the base pipe through support rings. Key features are as follows:

  • Screen outer layer available in stainless steel or low-carbon steel, tailored to operational requirements.
  • Slot density 3-5 times greater than standard wedge wire screen, reducing fluid turbulence and boosting hydrocarbon production.
