Casing centralizers are designed to centralize the casing pipes in the wellbore while cement is poured between casing and well walls. So it is important that properly install the casing centralizers. Right placement of casing centralizer can better standoff casings and enable mud to leave the casing for high quality cementing.

In order to benefit from the three approaches. One optimum placement solution is development, that is, the third way is optimum spacing. In this approach, users can specify the standoff (70%) with an incremental spacing requirement (20 ft). this ensures the standoff requirements, yet results in a not-difficult-to-follow placement program.
There are four kinds of installation of casing centralizers for your options.
This is the best choice of installation, which are to pull bow spring centralizers into the hole , increasing starting and running force, save time and cost. But, the defect is possible to break the bows. (see as Fig. 1)
Solid rigid centralizers are recommended to use this installation. It needs to pre-install to save time and cost. (see as Fig. 2)
Over couplings. It can eliminate the stop collar installation to reduce the standoff at midspan for increasing running force, we don't recommend this types of installation. (see as Fig. 3)
The installation is only used in limited casing centralizer travel, using one stop collar can reduce the cost, but it is not recommended in pipe racks. (see as Fig. 4)
